Crofts: young Gills midfielder looking to step it up this season
Croftsy on...Competition for places
"It's nice to have competition, it keeps you on your toes and you have to put in the right performances, and hopefully by doing that you'll keep your place in the team and deserve to be playing in the next game."

Croftsy on...Improving as a player
"Everyone can improve, no-one is the finished article yet, we put in a lot of work on the training pitch, and that's when you learn what you need to improve on, and you can take that into the games on a Saturday or a Tuesday, and hopefully you get better each game."

Croftsy on...His position in the squad
"I'd class myself as a senior player now, I've played a lot of games for Gillingham now and I'm enjoying my time here. When the gaffer came to the club I was a youngster but I've played a lot of games and I'd like to class myself as a senior player, and hopefully pass on a bit of experience to the younger players who are coming through now, I'm enjoying it here, and just got to keep working hard and putting in the right performances."
