Cooper: Hailed his side's 'massive performance'
Talking to the official club website, Cooper said, "It was a fantastic performance from the players and it was a special night, considering the opposition.

"That was a massive performance for me. I want to do as well as the players do. There have been massive changes with the amount of players who have left the club and the ones that have come in. One or two are getting back to full fitness.

"Tom Williams came on, Brent Sancho was back and Leon Johnson came in for an injured Ian Cox and they all did excellent. Young Paul Shields, who was cutting grass and chopping down trees six weeks ago, was up front and was excellent against two big Premiership defenders. That puts pressure on others and we need that, we need a bit of competition."

"The big thing was to put on a performance, and thankfully, we won. Tonight's result will give everyone a lift. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the fans were excellent and it was a great atmosphere in the stadium."
