Miller hits back at Ritchie

"It's a man's game," said Miller.

"I think some players and referees like it to be tippy-tappy. We're in a sticky situation that we're trying to get out of and people are chucking their bodies on the line.

"I don't know what the geezer expects us to do; that's what everyone's got to expect when they come here to play us.

"I don't care who I upset, and if I upset people. If they don't like it then they've got to take it on the chin. We're all men and it's a man's game - deal with it.

"The geezer didn't stop moaning, he was up off the bench every two minutes, up and down like Tower Bridge.

"I've got stick off so many people, whether it's been here or elsewhere and I seem to get it off other players, but I don't really care."

Miller stepped up to take the late penalty that secured the three points for the Gills - and he said that he had to keep his concentration, despite some provocation from the Huddersfield players.

"I had a lot of their players trying to wind me up and get in my head, but I just had tunnel vision, if you believe in yourself and if you go with confidence you're going to get the right result."
