Jepson: "I won't hide behind anybody"
"It is very frustrating. I thought we were excellent for the first 30 minutes. How we came in two-nil down at half-time, I don't know. The chances were created in the first 30 minutes and some of the play we had was excellent. To be on top and create that many chances, especially at home, you have got to stick them away.

"We created some unbelievable stuff. We opened them up, got at them and put some quality balls into the box. If they are not going into the net, then it is not going to be your night. Their header, I think it bounced awkward between the goalkeeper's legs, so that just about sums it up. In the second-half, I thought the lads showed plenty off commitment but I need them to have a bit more nous on the ball at times and be a bit more braver on the ball. When you are two-nil down, you need one or two leaders out there. I asked them that at half-time, and we came out and created as many chances as we did in the first-half. I give the lads a little bit of credit for that.

"When we have got teams on the rack like we had, you have got to stick the ball into the back of the net. If we had got the first goal, in that opening spell, we could've gone on from there. That is history now and we have come away with a two-nil defeat. We have to stick with it, that is what we have got. Hopefully the lads will start firing and put them chances away.

"(At halftime) I asked them to tighten up a little bit from set-pieces and things, and play like they did in that first half-hour spell. I think a little bit of confidence was drained from playing so well to coming in two-nil down at half-time. They rallied, to be fair, and worked hard but they needed a little bit more devilment on the ball and people in possession of the ball, they needed to take charge a little bit.

"We'll regroup and I take full responsibility for the result and I won't hide behind anybody. It is down to me at the end of the day as it is my team out there and it is up to me to get the players firing again. The buck stops with me. When you have worked on things all week in training and it goes how it did in that first half-hour, you think, yeah. But like I said, if you don't stick them chances away, you are going to struggle. We'll be in tomorrow morning. We'll check the injuries and see where we are up to and go again."
