The Championship Picks boardsters once again registered their predictions - and once again, Guffie is left at the top of the table. He seems to be the 'Chelsea' of the Championship Picks competition, as he already seems to have the title wrapped up. There's just four weeks of the season to go, so if someone's going to knock him off his perch, they'd better get on with it - and sharpish.
He certainly had little to worry about this week, though once again there were some 'personal bests' registered this week, meaning one or two changes in the high score table.
What would the_gills123 have achieved if only he'd been in the competition from the start?! He's been one of the highest scorers every week since he joined the competition. He once again improved his score, and now has a best of 36 points.
Thetownender2005 managed one point less, and sits on 35 points, while another improver, Tedhowes, moves up to 33 points after his best week. One of the 'laydees' of the board, AnnaB, also scored her best so far, but her 28 points leaves her plenty of ground to make up as the season approaches the finishing straight.
However, the beauty of this particular competition is the fact that it doesn't matter where you are in the League at any point during the season, it's all down to the best weekly score. That means just one good (or flukey) week could see you finish at the top.
