It seems most of the Championship picks boardsters have peaked this season and have nothing left for the final weeks of the season. In the main, Week 16 proved to be a bit of a disappointing weekend for all but two of our regulars.
Guffie will be pretty pleased with things after this weekend. Despite managing a paltry 13 points (the worst score of the week, tied with jasper_gill and jagman) he has hung onto the top spot by virtue of the inadequacies of his rivals.
The only other boardster who should be happy with himself is Grumpy. Firstly, Guffie suggested that he was actually my brother at Priestfield on Saturday (he's actually my old man!), which made his weekend. To cap it all off for the old duffer, he went and got the best score of the week - and improved his personal best in the process, with 38 points. He now sits in equal fourth in the high-score table.
Second-best score of the week goes to Fred_the_Needle, with 23 points, while the third-best score was achieved by CMC42, who managed 22 points.
