It seems a lot of the Championship Picks boardsters are immersing themselves into the relegation dogfight, as their predictions for most of the big matches at the bottom were pretty much there or thereabouts.
Unsurprisingly, nobody managed to pick Ipswich Town's 6-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest, which halted the Florists' run for safety for at least a week. Goalkeeper Paul Gerrard said it was the first time he'd ever let in six goals in one match in his entire career. Based on his performance at Priestfield earlier in the season, it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke!
So who rocked and who sucked this week...?
This week's big winner was Symongills2, who moved up to fourth in the table thanks to the week's best score of 34 points. Other movers included Tractor Boy Sir Wark, whose 31 points takes him to eighth, Thetownender and Gills21st, who now share 10th spot after both improving their scores to 29. Tedhowes also improved his score, and now sits one place behind with 28 points, while Davefromkent continued his gradual improvement, by registering his best score so far. His 26 points puts him in equal 16th.
Worst week this week goes to Spitfire, who followed up his 18 points last week with 16 points this week.
The run-in is now well underway, with plenty of crucial games coming thick and fast between now and the end of the season. Get your predictions in for Week 10 of Championship Picks and see if you can save YOUR season!
