Medwayblue was trying to improve his poor goal difference by scoring four away to wilfred_h but unfortunately this was cancelled out by Wilf also scoring four and endingthe game in a draw.
Spitfire,on the other hand, managed only his second win of the season by beating bottom placed The_Last_Waltz 0-3 away. I think this was slightly helped, however, by the fact Last_Waltz failed to make his predictions this week.
Another one who failed to turn up this week was second from bottom Akinbiyi which handed markg183 a rather unconvincing 0-2 victory.
NWBluesFan FINALLY got his big push underway with a 2-4 away victory (whoopty-do) against a very unlucky Jonhinio. However I do understand that the referee is being investigated over bribery allegations. This moves NWB to tenth place, one place above the'great divide', and Jonhinio drops to eleventh on goal difference.
Third from bottom birl_1997 managed a good point against fourth placed SkoobiBloo and Franky returns to take over from Mrs Franky and manages a very credible 3-3 draw against the league leader wiltsgill. Wilts is now the only player in both leagues to remain undefeated as GTAT lost 4-3 in a very close away fixture with baldangel. This was a great result for baldangel as he hadn't won in his last five games before this one.
Jagman continues beating the ladies (maybe I should re-phrase that!) with a 3-2 victory over kezz this week. Maybe kezz shouldn't have mentioned her 'beginners luck'. (Not above me now is she Grumps?).
Elsie2 continues her poor form with a 4-2 away defeat to Guffie. Being unbeaten in her first seven games she has now lost the last four and now finds herself in the bottom half of the table. (Stop laughing Jagman!).
So the top three remain the same - as do the bottom three, but with eight games still to go before the split there is still plenty of time for things to change. (Wilts could even finally get beaten...fingers crossed!).
