Also doing well was Gills21st, beating an on form deanogills 5-3 at home and doing his hopes of making it into the top half of the group no harm at all.
Deano remains in fourth place on goal difference above Gillsalltheway who had a 4-4 draw with Tedhowes. Ted has now gone five games without a win and is in danger of becoming rooted to the bottom half of the league (That would cheer me up no end!). Gillsalltheway really needs to work on his goal difference as it might prove costly on the run-in to the promotion in eight games time.
Another one needing to do some work in that department is symongills2 and his 5-1 hammering at the hands of martb_90 wouldn't have helped. Mart moves up into second place and is trying not to let Fred_the_Needle get too far ahead after Fred beat fommt2 0-3 away. Fommt made it a little easier for Fred by forgetting his user name (hasn't happened in this league for a while) but would still have lost 2-3 anyway.
Frediculous_biggs played host to MrGrumpy and with neither player having picked up a win in at least four games it ended up in an inevitable draw. Mind you both players must have given their goalkeepers the day off as it finished 5-5.
Another high scoring draw was in the game between coombs and Townender2005 which finished 4-4 dropping Townender down to third and ending his little run of three wins on the trot but actually moving coombs up a place to twelth.
Kent_UckyFriedGills and jasper_gill both won their games last week and were both looking to keep their winning ways going but only managed a 2-2 draw.
Zoidy was right when he said that his little run of form would end in tears...it did. He lost 2-4 at home to Headley (of all people, and I don't think he is going to let you forget it). Headley is now going on his own run of five games unbeaten and making his move to get in the top half of the table after a poor start. When he mentioned that he was pacing himself at the beginning of the season maybe we shouldn't have laughed.
But maybe I was right to mention the poor form of gaz86 as it seems to have spurred him on with a good 3-1 home win over cmc42 and moving him into the top half of the table.
All in all, it was a week with quite a few draws but plenty of goals. Well done again to Trueblue for his very good seven-goal tally this week and being Scottish I'm sure he won't rub it in too much...yeah right!
