SkoobiBloo also qualifies for Division One by maintaining his excellent unbeaten run (now 12 games) and beating league leader GTAT away 3-5. GTAT still needs one more win to win the league title. Please don't let that Swindon chap catch you up. (That was the polite version. Headley would surely ban me for life if I'd put what I wanted to).
Wiltsgill finally gets back to his winning ways by thumping four past NWBluesFan with only one in reply. NWBs 'Big Push' for the top has suddenly turned into a 'Big Dive' for the bottom as he now finds himself sitting in 14th place.
Jagman remains in 5th place even after having been beaten 4-5 at home by Elliott. Jagman has now lost four of his last five games and seems to of relaxed a little early as he still needs another two points to secure his place in Div. One. Elliott on the other hand appears to have timed his push just right as that was his 2nd win in a row and finds himself just one point away from the top ten.
Spitfire is also one point off the top ten, after a good 4-4 draw away to Baldangel, but really needs to pull something out of the bag if he is to live up to all of his boasts at the beginning of the season.. Is the mighty title winner of last season going to fall at the first hurdle? That would be a travesty wouldn't it? Wouldn't it? (No, i didn't think so either).
Its getting really tight now and anything can happen as being proved by Franky at the moment. He beat 6th placed Markg 4-3 and that earns him his second win in a row. That's something he has not been able to do all season but I still believe that he has been sacked and Mrs Franky has now taken over the running of the team. Maybe the air in Glenrothes agrees with him more than that lovely fresh air from St. Andrews. (Golfers or Loons? Tough choice).
Birl still leaves himself with an outside chance (very 'outside') of making it to the top league after the split after his 5-3 thumping of of Wilfred. Another 5-3 scoreline was the final result as Jonhinio moves closer to promotion after beating last waltz. But had Last Waltz not used the same banker as Jonhinio it could have been a high scoring 5-5 draw. But then this result still wouldn't have been enough to save him from Division Two football next season.
There was a right old battle between the ladies as Elsie took on Kezz (no Wiltsy, I can't let you have the video) . It finished 4-3 to Elsie and she now takes her rightful place in the top ten, where she spent most of the beginning of the season but unfortunately moves Kezz down to (her rightful place?) 13th.
That just leaves the game between those two footballing giants that are Akinbiyi and Welease Woderwick, sitting at 20th and 19th place respectively. As you can imagine the stadium was empty as both teams ground out a lack lustre 2-2 draw. Best of luck in league two lads!
Just two games to go and things starting to sort themselves out . Best of luck, some of you still need it.
