Guffie's Gills365 League Review: Week 6 - The Evens

Last updated : 21 September 2006 By Guffie

Before I start this weeks review a special mention must go to GTAT i feel, who was looking at maintaining his 100% record with a home game against Akinbiyi and when the games had kicked off and Akinbiyi hadn't posted his predictions you would have thought that his 100% record was safe. You would have thought that wouldn't you? He drew 0-0. I'm sorry, that's my warped sense of humour kicked in.

But a very well done to wiltsgill who beat Jonhinio 2-0 to keep his 100% record going. The only one from both leagues to do so. (Such a shame he lives in Swindon).

welease_woderwick
managed to scrape a very lucky home draw against my good self. Both of us having a bad day, it was 1-1.

Whilst jagman managed a very impressive 2-5 away win against baldangel. (I hope baldangel's form continues next week). Jagman now climbs to third place in the league.

Birl_1997 got his first win of the season away to Franky in a 0-1 nail-biter.

Elsie2 pushed The_Last_Waltz to bottom spot after a good 4-1 win at home. (Titter)

kezz and wilfred_h drew 2-2 in a mid-table battle while in another mid-table clash SkoobiBloo just managed to edge past elliottthegillsfan 4-1

NWBluesfan lost at home to medwayblue 1-2 but really deserves the 3 points for being one of only two who predicted that the Gills would win away.

Last years winner (just) Spitfire could only manage a 2-2 draw against an on form markg183 but he really needs to get his finger out if he wants to emulate last seasons success.
