Guffie's Gills365 League Review: Week 7 - The Evens

Last updated : 21 September 2006 By Guffie

We start this week's review with last seasons champion spitfire losing at home 3-5 to welease_woderwick. Things not looking good for Spitty at the moment. Shame.

Medwayblue got the best result of the week in this league with a good 4-0 home win against markg183 - mind you, i think it might of helped if mark had actually predicted this week.

A 2-2 draw between elliottthegillsfan and NWBluesfan leaves both of them still in danger in the bottom half of the table.

wilfred_h lost at home to SkoobiBloo 0-2 but if wilfred had managed to put in his username he would of won 4-2 and moved himself into a mid-table position rather than sitting dangerously near the bottom.

The_Last_Waltz was being the ultimate gentleman by letting kezz beat him 0-3 at home but once again if he had remembered his username he would of beaten her 6 (yes six) -3 and would have been off the foot of the table. How gutting is that.

Elsie2 beat Akinbiyi 2-4 away moving herself up into 4th place and keeping Akinbiyi rooted to second from bottom.

But the closest game of the week was between Jonhinio and GTAT which was won in the end by GTAT keeping him in second place with a very respectable 19 points.

But this weeks league leader is still wiltsgill who kept his remarkable 100% record going against the unfortunate birl_1997 who is struggling to get himself away from the foot of the table but came up this week against an on form wilts and lost 1-3. Surely wilts can't keep this run going for much longer. C'mon gang, he's from Swindon.

Franky's poor form continued this week with a 4-2 away defeat to jagman who, if he was in the other league, would find himself second instead of third.

My love of draws continues with a 3-3 draw against baldangel who had a bad week last week but obviously raises his game against tougher opposition.
