My pick of the week for this week was gills21st v gillsalltheway which turned out to be a close 2-3 win for gillsalltheway. (Even though he had no faith in himself mid-week). This moves him up to sixth in the league whilst gills21st moves down towards the danger zone.
Another close game was a nine goal thriller as MrGrumpy took on, and beat, deanogills 5-4. That takes his goals for tally up to twenty eight, the highest in either of the two leagues. Unfortunately his goals against tally is pretty high too, sort your defence out Grumps.
jasper_gill and Thetownender2005 were locked in a 2-2 draw which wouldn't of helped either of their causes very much. Townender losing ground on the top positions and jasper starting to get caught by Headley, the shame of it.
Headley managed this by a very good 4-5 away victory over Kent_UckyFriedGills (Even more Shame) who appears to have lost his good form that he showed at the start of the season.
frediculous_name- sorry- biggs and cmc42 both got their first draw of the season 2-2 but at least frediculous_biggs managed to put his user name in this week.
Coombs had a very good result against second placed symongills2 beating him 5-2 at home, that helped his goal tally a bit, being the biggest goal difference in this league this week.
Last week i was told that the game between tedhowes and Fred_the_needle should have been my pick of the week (by Ted). Fred's unbeaten run keeps going as he beat Ted 3-5 away and moving himself four points clear of the chasing pack.
As predicted by me last week, Zoidy beat Truebluejock 5-3 at home as Trueblue gets that sinking feeling, sitting second from bottom.
A close 4-3 win for martb_90 over fommt2 finds him moving up to third place in the league.
Gaz86 missed his chance of taking second place by only drawing 0-0 at home with jfc...who didn't even bother to turn up.
