There are 40 runners in the race, so there are 40 tickets going spare, first come, first served, so get in quick to claim your ticket, which will be drawn at random by our friends at Betfair, who are running our sweepstake for us.

If you're not of the gambling persuasion, don't worry, you don't need to bet, or open a betting account, to play - it's FREE!

If you want to take part, send an email to grandnational@gills365.co.uk and we'll add you to the mailing list. Shortly after, you'll receive an email from Betfair containing a link you can click to take part. That link applies to your email address only.

Clicking the link will take you to the Grand National sweepstake site. Just follow the on-screen instructions and you'll be allocated your own horse for the race. If, by Friday evening, we haven't received 40 entries, we'll do a random draw for the remaining horses, which will be allocated to the existing players.

There are no prizes on offer, because I'm skint, but on the plus side, it costs you nothing to enter, so you have absolutely nothing to lose!
