A bumper crowd of 425 - the highest attendance of the round - saw the Gills seal a comfortable win, with goals from Tom Murphy, Connor Essam and a Harry Mills own goal taking Gillingham through.

Mark Patterson's young Gills side now face an away trip to Cheltenham in the Second Round.
