Zoff: Victorious skipper in Espana '82
Zoff wasn’t a spectacular keeper, mainly due to his superb positioning and anticipation. He was Italy’s first choice goalkeeper, racking up a record 112 caps for his country, and playing in three World Cup finals tournaments, 1974, 1978 andd 1982.

He was actually Italy’s first choice keeper as far back as 1968, where he was in the European Championship-winning side, but he lost his place to Albertosi in the 1970 World Cup runners-up team.

He eventually won his place back, however, and finally picked up the biggest prize in football when he lifted the world cup in Spain in 1982.

Dino Zoff was a great keeper and a great servant to the world game.
