Rumour Mill: Jackman to join Cobblers?

Rumours abound regarding the future of Danny Jackman, who has been strongly linked with a move to Northampton Town.

Jackman has arguably been Gillingham's most consistent defender in recent seasons, but a rumoured falling out with Ronnie Jepson earlier in the season has reportedly left Jackman eagerly awaiting his summer exit.
Our sources claim Jackman sold his house a few weeks ago and the subsequent news linking him with a move to Northampton, where he would link up with his former coach at
Aston Villa Stuart Gray, begin to make a lot of sense.

If the stories we've heard are to be believed, Jacko's exit has been in the offing for a fair while. Northampton appears to be his most likely destination - and we 're virtually certain that he'll be leaving Priestfield in the coming days. We'll be sad to see him go, though.
